How to use Karuppu kavuni

  • Soaking (Crucial):Soak the rice for at least 6 to 8 hours(or overnight). This softens the grain and ensures even cooking.
  • Cooking Ratio: Use a ratio of1 cup of rice to 3 cups of water.

Method: 

  1. Pressure Cooker: Cook for 4–5 whistles on medium flame. 
  2. Open Pot: Simmer for 30–40 minutes until the grains are tender but slightly chewy.
